Innovation couldn't come better than having a machine that can clean itself. The self-clean station (optional) has shown to save thousands in repair costs caused when the printer is shutdown incorrectly and/or printhead cleaning protocols are incorrectly undertaken.

Power consumption is already one of the lowest at 73VA, but with the UX2 you also receive selectable power save mode. The UX-2 can also utilise Hitachi's solvent free inks which negates the need for costly specialist waste disposal.

With Hitachi's innovative quick change connectors printers can be moved between lines speedily and efficiently thus eliminating preconfiguring I/O routing. This provides significant reductions in production downtime.

The new high-speed print head enables 1- and 2-line applications with optimum quality at speeds of up to 330 m/minThanks to a large number of interfaces and communication protocols, the UX2 is fit for industry 4 (Ethernet, RS232 / Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC/UA). 

In addition, the UX2 is fully compatible with Nicelabel - to integrate your new UX2 into your networked production .

Due to the continued use of umbilical cords which are 4 m in length both the printer and the Safe-Clean-Station, you are flexible in the location of  integration into your production line and your PLC.
